THE COMPANY

The foundations of D. Rampersad and Company Limited were solidly laid down by the late, but well-respected Deosaran Rampersad, over forty (40) years ago. In 1972 he was succeeded by his son, Nirmal Rampersad, who rose to the challenge and has successfully developed and, in part, transformed the business. The company has established international recognition for providing quality maintenance and repair services within the industrial engineering field.

All of Rampersad's services are performed in strict compliance with an ISO 9001:2000 certified quality system with a strong commitment to our HSE 'Zero' Incidents Program.

Mr. Nirmal Rampersad is the Chairman/CEO of D. Rampersad & Company Limited. Through his dynamic leadership he has been able to transform this company in to one of the largest engineering companies in the Caribbean. Today, D. Rampersad & Company provides a full range of engineering services, from automotive and marine engineering to high integrity rotating equipment services. Mr. Rampersad holds directorships on other major boards and is also heavily involved in community work.

Mr. Martyn Kilingbeck came to D. Rampersad & Company Limited in late 1998, with a wealth of experience gained over a period of eighteen years in the U.K., where he excelled in the engineering service field. As a result of this, he quickly climbed the hierarchy from apprentice technician to a professional degree-qualified engineer and then to Managing Director of a leading engineering company in the U.K. This company provided rotating equipment aftermarket refurbishment and maintenance services not only to the major industries in the U.K., but also to international energy industries in the Middle and Far East.
